We answer common questions about fees, confidentiality, and booking before your first visit.

Common questions overview

Clients often ask about fees, confidentiality, and whether counselling is the right step. The answers below reflect how MindEase Pro works in practice — transparent pricing, clear boundaries, and honest guidance when our services are not the best fit.

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No. You may contact us directly to book an initial consultation. If you are already under psychiatric care, inform your counsellor so we can coordinate appropriately within confidentiality limits.

Is everything I say confidential?

Counselling content is confidential except where disclosure is required to prevent serious harm or mandated by law. We explain these limits clearly at your first appointment and answer any questions before you share sensitive material.

How much do sessions cost?

An initial consultation is SGD 180 for 50 minutes. Standard follow-up sessions are SGD 160 for 50 minutes. Extended 80-minute sessions are SGD 240 by arrangement. Full details appear on our services page.

Do you offer online sessions?

Our primary format is in-person counselling at Blk 18 Holland Drive, #06-33, Singapore 271018. Video sessions may be available in limited circumstances — ask when booking.

Can I choose my counsellor?

We assign based on availability and fit. You may request a specific counsellor when enquiring; we honour requests when their schedule allows.

What should I bring to the first session?

No documents are required. Arrive a few minutes early, bring questions about fees and confidentiality, and consider one or two goals you hope counselling might support — even tentative ones are enough to begin.

Is MindEase Pro an emergency service?

No. We do not provide crisis intervention or 24-hour support. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. For emotional crisis support, contact Samaritans of Singapore at 1767.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. Our counsellors do not prescribe or manage medication. If medication may be helpful, we can discuss referral to a qualified medical practitioner separately from counselling.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations may incur a fee equal to half the session rate. See our Terms of Service for details.
